the Yangtze River

The Yangtze River (6,300-km-long) is not only the longest river in China but also one of the longest in the world. Its source is in the Qinghai highlands and it flows eastward through eight provinces and one centrally administered municipality.

Chongqing

Chongqing , also spelled Chungking, is one of the most famous cities in China and capital of a provincial "muncipality" by the same name.

Chengdu

Guilin

As the second largest city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guilin is the political, economic and cultural center in northeast Gui Region in China. The name of Guilin means "Laurel Forest" in Chinese because there are tens of thousands of sweet osmanthus trees in the city.

Lijiang is in the centre of Yunnan Province in China's South West and has long been a favourite getaway for Chinese and Foreign tourists looking to escape China's summer heat.

Mt. Huangshan

Of all the notable mountains in China, Mount Huangshan, to be found in the south of Anhui province, is probably the most famous. Originally known as Mt. Yishan it was renamed Mt. Huangshan in 747 AD in recognition of the legendary Huang Di.

Suzhou

is in Jiangsu Province, just West of Shanghai, and is one of China's most pleasant cities, famous for it's gardens, silk and canals. The capital of the Wu State in the 6th century BC, it is a quiet and enigmatic destination and well worth a trip from Shanghai

Hangzhou

Hangzhou, served as the capital of the Zhejiang province, is functioning as the political, economic and cultural center, as well as a transportation hub in the province. It has 6 urban districts and 7 suburban counties under jurisdiction with an area of more than 16,000 square kilometers.

Wuhan

Wuhan is the capital of Hubei Province and an important strategic hub in China, sited right on the Yangtse River. With a population of about 8 million it is a key industrial base and is a busy inland port, poised to play a key part as the Yangtse is developed as a result of the Three Gorges Dam project.
