Terms and Conditions:
  • The receipt of your deposit or final payment will indicate that you and your travel agent (when applicable) have read these Terms and Conditions, and that you (and your agent) have accepted them. The Terms and Conditions below form the basis of the contractual relationship between HFCITS Chongqing and its clients. It is extremely important that our clients understand and accept these Terms and Conditions as well as all web contents.
Cruise Fares:
  • Cruise fares are quoted in US Dollars. The cruises include meals on board and shore excursion costs, while personal expenses such as drinks, hair dressing, clinic vits, shopping and etc. are not included.
  • Kids under 2 years will be charged 10% of the adult fare;
  • children between 2 and 12 years of age will be charged 67% or 50% of the adult fare, providing the child shares a bed with an adult member;
  • any child occupying a single bed will be charged 100% or 75% of the adult fare. Children above 12 years of age will be charged full price.
  • The standard room is double occupancy. An additional 75% or 90% fare will be added for single occupancy in a double-occupancy cabin.
Reservation and payment:
  • Tickets may be booked by online, by fax or by e-mail. Valid confirmation will be made after receipt of the application. Deposit must be paid to us within 3 days after the reservation is confirmed. The company reserves right to adjust reservation if the deposit is not received before the deadline.
  • The following items should be indicated when making reservation:
  • the name of the travel agent(when applicable), the name of the group, number of clients, type of the cabin, number of the beds, customer's name, nationality, sailing date, from (port) to (port) and any special requirements.
  • Full payment of the ticket must be remitted to our bank account 20 days prior to the sailing date, otherwise the reservations will automatically be released and the deposit will not be refunded.
  • we are not responsible for deposits or payments improperly remitted, or cruise / group numbers not clearly provided by the customer.
Cancellation and Compensation:
  • We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your trip to China, however we realize that there are many valid reasons that this can happen.
  • In the event of cancellation we will refund any payment made to Yangtze Holidays less any cancellation fee that is applicable. With in 14 days of our receipt of your written cancellation request.
  • The Trip cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:
  • No less than 60 days before departure: RMB500/per person
  • 30 to 45 days before departure: 50%
  • Within 30 days before departure: 100%
  • After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.
  • Special Notes For Yangtze River Cruise:
  • 50% of the cruise fare will be charged upon receipt of a cancellation 60 days prior to the sailing date.
  • 100% of cruise fare will be charged 45 days prior to the sailing date.
Responsibility:
  • For Yangtze Cruises: All arrival and departure times, shore excursions & lectures are subject to change due to weather, river conditions, mechanical breakdown and permission from navigational authorities. we will be responsible for transferring the groups or chartering a cruise to similar class (only for the group who have paid the deposit). The fare differences will be refunded to passengers depending on the vessel that is substituted.
  • Yangtze Holidays shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person, property in connection with climatic conditions, sea fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars whether or not declared, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, terrorist activities, or any other actions, omissions or conditions beyond our control. Neither us nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the aforementioned causes.
  • Yangtze Holidays shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts, omissions, or the failure of any equipment operated by any suppliers such as transportation carriers, cruise, and hotels, or any other party not directly owned or controlled by Yangtze Holidays.
  • Yangtze Holidays is not responsible for clients failure to comply with customs regulations.
  • Yangtze Holidays is not responsible for the stolen and lost of any customers valuables items of tourists that is due to the negligence of the customer.
  • Yangtze Holidays reserves the right to substitute hotels, flights, or cruise ships, to alter itineraries, or to cancel the tour prior to departure. If Yangtze Holidays has cancelled any tour prior to the commencement of the tour, Yangtze Holidays is liable for a full refund of the money received by Yangtze Holidays .
  • Many of Yangtze Holidays tour packages include activities which require care attention. Such activities include boarding and going ashore from boats, climbing hills and entering and exiting tombs and caves etc. You will receive help and advice from our representatives but all activities are undertaken at your own risk. Yangtze Holidays , its employees and agents cannot be responsible for any action or event that occurs after its said employees and agents have exercised their duty and taken the necessary care.
  • Yangtze Holidays reserves the right to modify or rescind the terms and conditions in whole, or in part at any time with or without notice.
